Since 1964, Anacortes Community Theatre has served the community by presenting high quality, live performances and in many other various ways.
Anacortes Community Theatre (ACT) is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization that celebrates community in every performance.
ACT is not a repertory, regional or private theatre organization - anyone can be a part of ACT - so come PLAY with ACT!
ACT is the only theatre in Skagit County that owns its own building - all our theatre performances are on our property - we are a true home for community theatre!
ACT's Mission Statement: Celebrating Live Theatre with Every Performance
Vision Statement: We will be an advocate for theatre arts in our community by promoting a culture of excellence and inclusion.
ACT is also committed to working with children and youth, providing opportunities for encouraging and developing their artistic talents in drama and stagecraft.
Our address is 918 M Ave, Anacortes, WA 98221
Volunteers are the heartbeat of a community theatre. Anacortes Community Theatre always welcomes new volunteers. Would you like to volunteer in some aspect of the theatre? We need set builders, painters, costumers, hair dressers, make-up artists, light board operators, sound engineers, and Front of House ushers—all of the people who make the “magic” happen behind the scenes.
